@Nadchew_ As a staycation, it was a nice, short break from the daily grind. There were some teething issues due to the inexperienced staff, and food options are currently limited, but the brand new facilities, serene views and the design of the resort (I personally liked it) made up for it.
I also appreciated being able to maximize my time at the Mandai parks without the hassle of commuting. I toured Night Safari till closing knowing my hotel room is less than a 10-minute walk away, and dropped by Bird Paradise as the gates opened.
@Zhao yun there are 2 restaurants in the resort itself. The new restaurants just outside the resort at Mandai Wildlife East (pizza, sushi, bak kut teh, Mcdonald's, etc) will open around the 3 quarter of this year, with even more (food village) opening by year's end.
