Whereas before you had to peek into the enclosure over a rocky ledge further protected by wooden branches, sight into the enclosure is now completely free via a massive ca. 2m tall viewing window. The former peeking over a rocky ledge created a sense of wonder and naturalistic feel that imo is now unfortunately somewhat lost - though objectively the viewing is now better, especially for little children.
