ralph 2 May 2025 @Mr Gharial on my last visit (2023) the species list looked like this - Hermann's tortoise (multiple subspecies) - Marginated tortoise - European pond turtle - Caspian turtle - North African mastigure - Moroccan ocellated lizard - European glass lizard - Alborella - Gournara - Marathon minnow - Pearl roach Quite an extensive building for a few 'simple' reptiles and fishes.

MagpieGoose 2 May 2025 @Mr Gharial These are all the species that were signed in the house on my visit in June 2024: Schetopulsik (Pseudopus apodus) Moroccan ocellated lizard (Timon tangitanus) Marginated tortoise (Testudo marginata) Eastern Hermann's tortoise (Testudo hermanni boettgeri) Souss Valley spur-thighed tortoise (Testudo graeca soussensis) Western Hermann's tortoise (Testudo hermanni hermanni) European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis) Alborella (Alburnus arborella) North Italian roach (Leucos aula) Hellenic roach minnow (Tropidophoxinellus hellenicus) Marathon minnow (Pelasgus marathonicus) Balkan pond turtle (Mauremys rivulata) And also Milos viper (Macrovipera schweizeri) in an adjacent exhibit.
