Tasmanian brushtail possum

Just wondering, how dark are the nocturnal enclosures? And, like Grzimek Haus in Frankfurt, is there more light at opening time?

not too sure. I arrived pretty late on my visiting day, thus I don't know if the lights are still on in the early morning

The nocturnal part of the house is dark during visiting hours, in my opinion considerably darker than the Grzimek House. Possibly due to the recommendations of a (non-scientific) report on zoo animal husbandry, which authorities often use, to use no more than 0.3 lux in nocturnal houses.
However (depending on opening hours), you can experience the artificial dawn and dusk when it's already quite light.
