Ocean Pavilion - Quarantine Pool

June 20, 2025. I saw two Indo-Pacific Leopard Sharks in the tank.
The male of this pair, Kuda, used to be in The Reef tank but regressed in his training behavior and is being retaught to do target training feeding.

The aquarium hopes to breed these two once they're mature and let ReShark transport the eggs to a nursery in Southeast Asia!

Is this seen from a behind-the-scenes tour or is it adjacent to the jellies nursery? I visited recently but was in a big hurry to photograph in the morning before the crowds descended!

@geomorph Any regular visitor can see into this area. The quarantine pool is next to the jellies nursery and it's cool that Seattle Aquarium offers glimpses of areas that would normally be behind-the-scenes.
