Taken on 21st June 2025 in the Amazon Flooded Forest. These little fellows can be found in the Cardinal Tetra Tank beside the Blue Discus.
Allegedly they were in the tank earlier but I was only able to find this individual on the date this photo was taken. Unsure of species/subspecies so I'll wait for assistance of the fish experts here
L046 Zebra Plecos are the only Hypancistrus that have the lines go horizontal like that. That's how you can tell them apart from nearly every other "zebra pleco" species.
