ID this fish.

Perhaps Epinephelus corallicola? Far from sure though.

Is it not a Panther Grouper? My grouper knowledge isn’t amazing but it’s the closest fit to the ones I know.

@olhl.animal.photography head is too large for Cromileptes altivelis - that species has a very distinctive tiny, low-set head giving the fish a hunch-backed appearance - which the fish in this image lacks. There are multiple other grouper species with similar patterning - often pattern alone is not sufficient to identify species in this family.
