How do you distinguish this species from Micropterus nigricans? I've been seriously struggling to ID some captive Micropterus.
BucerosKeeper 8 Jul 2025 @DaLilFishie to tell you the truth, I am not sure and have used the name provided by the store. These animals were imported as M. salmoides and supposedly come from European broodstock that originated in Florida.
