Australia Zoo has a resident population of Azure Kingfishers. They can generally be a rather tricky species to see as they can be elusive but the kingfishers here at the zoo are often seen perched among the Crocodile Environmental Park and towards the wetlands around Bindi's Island. Both Forest and Sacred Kingfisher (along with Laughing Kookaburra) can be seen on the zoo's grounds as well.
