Baby Sunflower Sea Star

Pycnopodia helianthoides | In the Pacific Seas Aquarium, I'd imagine it was captive bred since they conservation work with the species. Pretty cool to see the various stages, all on exhibit
@Ebirah766 I believe so, they're apart of the restoration program, and I believe the only place in the State that is allowed to collect wild specimens is Friday Harbor Labs in the San Juan Islands since they're one of the program founders / leaders
 
Okay so doing some ID correcting for my Oregon Coast Aquarium species list, it turns out that this is actually a "Rose Star" (Crossaster papposus), and not a baby Sunflower Star. New species to me, good to know
