@Typhlonectes All I know is that this was a rescue, but New Zealand hasn't kept snakes in captivity for a long time (Which, to be perfectly honest, I think is down to ophidophobia; I don't see any good reason as to why they refuse to keep something like a ball python, while lace monitors and american alligators and such are A-OK)
