The giraffe paddock was empty when I went here. Not even a Roan Antelope or a Plains Zebra is walking or grazing. You can see the Giraffe House and Heart Of Africa in the background.
I do not know how they do it. No matter what, british Zoos mange to look somehow deprssing, no matter the quality of the exhibits (like this great quality paddock)
Yes, the Giraffes are mostly in their yard, but only when the grass is wet (because its dangerous to giraffes accrording to the 1995 guidebook). It does have a forest part that used to have Cheetah, before that Maned Wolves and way before that, Kori Bustards.
