Fine-spotted Comet (Calloplesiops argus)

What a stunning fish and I love the fake eyespot on the hind margin of the dorsal fin! Very convincing!

From a cursory search, this seems to be a new species for the gallery! Although it is possible that one has been uploaded under the name C. altivelis.

@DaLilFishie from what I can tell, you are right. Most images I've seen here are indeed C. altilevis, which have spots on the anal fin. Usually they are rather large and well-spaced, but some individuals may exhibit finer spots as well.

To my knowledge C. argus has finer spots that eventually give way to lines towards the base of the animal.
