Which aviary besides the entrance do you refer to? The one with the hyacinth macaws? I love the signs at Vincennes, these bird count ones in specific are very useful.
It is the indoor aviary to the right of the entrance door, there is a smaller aviary behind it which seemed to have some of these birds - I saw the male blue dacnis in this smaller one, while the female was in the larger front one. I believe that it was previously used by the macaws, who still have the outdoor aviary beside it.
