Lord Howe Exhibit

An area of seating with the Lord Howe Island Stick Insect statue in the background.
A fairly random place for seating. I assume that this is part of some old amphitheatre from back when the zoo's elephant enclosure was around here, rather than a feature intended for educational talks about the insects, although that could prove interesting?

@Kalaw I would assume the same, although there is a small television screen just above the statue with an educational film on the insects

@Kalaw They used to do educational programs for school groups and such in there. I remember going there with my class more than ten years ago. Unfortunately, I don't know if that's still a thing nowadays.

@Kalaw I don´t think there were any programs when elephants were around (this was bull enclosure or stairs between bulls and main paddock)
If I am not wrong, it become spot for such programs after elephants were moved
