Lord Howe Exhibit

Educational signage.
This whole area looks really nicely desinged and its wonderful to have another European zoo with the species after Bristol's closure (let's now hope that the rumours about London following suit prove true!). Its a ludricous amount of space and educational features to devote to just one species, but I love that and it really shows Prague's commitment to education.

As a side-note, I know that this whole 'Bororo Reserve' complex (playground, vivarium, capybaras etc) was once the elephant and hippo house, but in very recent years - as in until this stick insect exhibit opened - what was in this particular portion of it? On my visit I did not get the sense that there was much space around here for a whole new courtyard opposite the Great Aviary, and I don't remember seeing any sort of old elephant amphitheatre as other pictures would suggest.

@Kalaw Elephant valley (and new hippo house) were opened 2013 - till that date, elephants and hippos lived here (stick insect exhibit was bull paddock, while playground "above it" was main paddock with group of females (at least in last years).
Bull paddock was visible mostly from small "lookout tower", which standed between it and great aviary
