@Austin the Sengi I did! My travel buddy and I made a visit based on his own experiences with the Alligator Farm and based on the fact that we're trying to hit up every major facility in Florida... However... I was very reluctant to come here after what I saw at Gatorland (cheesy, little education), and assumed the Alligator Farm would be similar. Outside of the species they share, they couldn't be more opposite from each other. The Alligator Farm appears to treat their residents with more respect, they are given proper / non-overstocked homes, and their conservation work is on display around every corner.
@Moebelle, couldn’t have said it better myself. From personal experience, the Alligator Farm is the superior facility of the two, and a place that I am longing to return to ever since I last visited (for the first time ever) way back in early 2020!
Even while I’m going to visit a separate facility in the meantime (). I am more than willing to meet up with you and your friend at another institution in Florida someday soon (if that’s too much to ask?).
