Hopefully it's just under maintenance and they'll reintroduce the coconut crabs again. For some reason, coconut crabs do not last long in Indonesian zoos and aquarias (SWA, JAQS and Faunaland once kept them, and BXSea scrapped plans to keep them and its intended exhibit now houses false gharials and snake-necked turtles, though previously it housed sailfin dragons and mudskippers)
 
@Fargusno the one at JAQ was probably off-display, they last pretty long on-display there until the forced branding stuffs with the mammals.

It's probably more a case of these facilities no longer see the benefit of having one. No idea about Aviary Park since I don't think they're one of "those" facilities, they only have a single individual anyway.
 
@Rizz Carlton The exhibit was pretty huge for just one animal. IDK what will they do with this exhibit for now. Hopefully they'll re-exhibit coconut crabs again.
