Fort Chiswell Animal Park- Parrot displays

Just out of curiosity, did an employee specifically tell you that the macaw is a hybrid? Or are you just guessing that it is based on how it looks?

Ah, I see. I was researching macaw hybrids earlier and I thought that this bird might be a Military/Great green macaw hybrid. Hard to be sure, though. Both species already closely resemble one another, so it seems to be tough to tell hybrids apart from their parent species.
