Does anybody have an idea where the pacas live in the zoo?
I didn't see them and I didn't see signs at my last visit...

They used to be - and may still be - in the monkey cages adjacent to the reptile and lemur house: the main one is for mandrills (previously mangabeys) and the ones to the side have various smaller monkeys in them; living alongside the squirrel monkeys is (or was) the paca. This photo looks to have been taken there.

They were mixed with squirrel monkeys in a moated, open-fronted cage when I visited in 2012 (or was it 2011?).

Oh yes - I'd forgotten that....

They moved from the monkey cages to that big(ger) thing, where the crab-eating macaques were for a long while.
