Inside the African Rivers tank with African Pikes and Saddled Bichirs. This one doesn't seem to follow my finger.
"This one doesn't seem to follow my finger."

I love this type of sentences/references, worded like it's just a throaway trivial line but some people may caught the niche reference/trivia. Could be an inside joke for some Indonesian ZC users :p

@merlin before this individual, this particular facility used to have an really large Nile arowana in the 2000's and lived until the 2010's. This species was very rare in Indonesia at that time, even in the aquarium fish trade, so that individual was special to some people in some ways. For me personally, seeing that individual for the first time in 2014 was actually the first ever time I'm even aware that there's a "African" arowana.

That individual fish had also been recorded as being very aggresive, pointing or sticking your fingers at it's tank glass will not only make it follow your fingers around, but will somehow struck it's nerve or something. It will open it's mouth to try to "bite" the fingers and rushed around to chase the fingers like crazy, creating messes on it's own tank. It clears that this fish was unfortunately very stressed, but that aggresive behavior was memorable to a lot of people visiting this Aquarium in the past.
