@captain alligator Certainly not all of the species at Pairi Daiza are in themed areas fitting their geographic theme. In some cases that is because the actual accurate species are not availabe. The current gharial exhibit once housed (almost impossible to see) Chinese giant salamanders, which have moved to an indoor exhibit.
