Western hooded vulture (Necrosyrtes monachus 'monachus')

This species has now been considered to be monotypic. This nominate subspecies was considered to be found in Western Africa and are generally though to be lighter in body weight than the subspecies from Eastern to Southern Africa.

The signage labelled the species as specifically from Senegal.
