I forgot to mention on my post that the Amazons are now kept on one of the small aviaries, the ones with Galah, Crowned Pigeons and Hill Myna. I didn´t see the Salmon Crested Cockatoos, btw.
@Merintia, glad to read that, the mesh of the aviaries will provide verticality, I'm sure the amazons will appreciate it.
Back in the day, this whole pen was home to pinioned macaws, cockatoos, and amazons. It's nice to see the park steer away from those practices. Still sad that these amazons will forever be handicapped, though.
@SivatheriumGuy I didn´t know they had so many birds on that place, my first visit was 7 years ago and they only had this two Amazons. What a shame are pinioned, I thought they just had their feathers cut, and that was bad enough
