@Summer Tanager thanks I was super pleased to see such a young chick. I’ve caught them at a little older before but not quite as newly hatched as this! As noted in the shooting British birds thread I was just finished photographing a butterfly when they caught it and fed it to the chick so they had a bit of a treat as well as me.
