Even the ubiquitous Mara, a species that I've become bored at after seeing these guys at almost 100 zoos, can look majestic in the hands of a skillful photographer. Bravo!
@snowleopard Thanks, that's kind. I always enjoy Mara and it's a great time of year to wander around the largest Oak trees at Whipsnade to find their burrows and see if you can spot the youngsters. They often have an evening creche near the warty pigs and gather a few small ones together there. A bit of extra enjoyment to be had when they free roam around such a large zoo, though they have some favourite spots - I am never bored sitting on a tree stump in the good weather trying to get them in the lens!
