17-04-2025. In addition to an enclosure for a pure-blooded nile croc, there is also an enclosure with nile crocs x orinico croc hybrids. It held 3 animals, at least 2 of them should be hybrids but I am not sure about the third (ZTL only mentions 1 pure nile and 2 hybrid crocs).

A hybrid between an African crocodile and a South American crocodile is honestly weird.
Incidentally, Orinoco crocodile are not currently kept in captivity in Germany.
