Zoofan15 9 Sep 2025 @captain alligator Yes, they were introduced to New Zealand in 1905 as a game bird and are now considered a pest. They were also introduced to Europe in the 17th century and Japan in the mid-1980’s.

captain alligator 10 Sep 2025 @Zoofan15 Japan has successfully eradicated Canada goose, so there are no feral Canada goose in Japan today. (although I have only ever seen them in zoos)
