Rose-crowned fruit dove (Ptilinopus regina flavicollis)

An single bird, in an aviary alongside a pair of southern Sulawesi hornbill (Rhabdotorrhinus exarhatus sanfordi) and four maleos (Macrocephalon maleo).

This subspecies are found in the central Lesser Sunda Islands; in Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Rote, Semau, and the western half of Timor. It seems this subspecies have a much less vibrant belly plumage, compared to those seen in Australia.
