Sumatran Bearded Pig (Sus barbatus oi)

Been looking forward to getting footage of this for a while now.

Generally the Bearded Pigs tend to be asleep most of the time when I'm around, so it was absolutely wonderful to get to observe them taking a dip in the pool again after a few months. The male however was my target this time, and I got very excited to him taking his dip while shoveling for food.

Looking forward to the next time he does this again, hopefully much closer to the viewing platform.

If you'd like to observe active bearded pigs, Bako National Park in Sarawak is the place to go. Had an incredible 2 days there last year.

@Casuarius_casuarius Thank you for the tip! Definitely will keep that in mind when I start to head out more to the wild to search for wildlife.
