Rose-crowned Fruit-Dove

I have been trying to photograph wild Rose-crowned Fruit-Doves for years. Sightings have always involved quick flybys, near misses and camera malfunctions when I have had the opportunity. Today on Green Island, the curse was broken. Green Island off Cairns was jam-packed with them with the fruiting trees attracting great activity from them. I stopped counting after my 40th dove among coastlines with regular sightings of Black-tipped Reef Sharks, Blue-spotted Fantail Rays and Green Sea Turtles.
