Giant Raphael Catfish (Megalodoras uranoscopus)

Taken at the Amazon Flooded Forest. One of the species at River Wonders which I was semi-actively looking for finally showed itself recently.

For the longest time whenever I checked the Stingray pool I could never catch the fella, which had me believing it might've died out and was never reported.

Happy to say that thankfully, I was proven wrong and will be attempting to get a better photo someday. (Unless this actually isn't a Giant Raphael Catfish.)

Yea, your ID is correct. This is indeed M. uranoscopus, though its synonym 'M. irwini' continues to persist among hobbyists in the local aquarium trade, occasionally causing some confusion.

What's the hiding fish on the bottom left? A ripsaw catfish?

Thanks! I had that one listed under 'manatee tank' so I guess I need to change that (unless the spcecies is kept in both)
