Rizz Carlton 27 Sep 2025 Nominate subspecies from Java, very distinguisbale from the other subspecies by their black plumage and pale blue eyes. They're also the rarest of the four known subspecies, I'm both lucky and unfortunate to be able to photograph it in a bird market.
