Number of days I've seen dolphins on the Yorkshire coast in the last three months: 3 days.
Either they've changed behaviour or I have become a dolphin magnet. I had Risso's Dolphins over on Anglesey in that time frame as well so truly ridiculous dolphin times.
@Maguari Number of days I've seen them on Dorset coast despite regular walks over 10 + years, particularly on Portland Bill where there are frequent sightings: I day.
But they seem to be getting more frequent, just not for me.
@Maguari That's a great sighting and a nice shot of them too. I saw one group from the top of the cliffs this year and they are a real rarity for me. Lucky you on having a magnet year!
@Lafone Thanks! I'm fascinated to see if applying the same principles next year lets me find them again or if this is a total fluke! (pun fully intended)
