Great Hall, July 9, 2016.
Holotype of Camarasaurus lentus (YPM 1910) in 2016, one of the first nearly complete sauropod skeletons ever discovered. Mounted in the Great Hall since the 1930s, it was on display until its retirement during the 2020 renovation. The skeleton has now been dismantled, and the bones are preserved in collections for future research.
