@Mr Gharial Yeah especially since there seems to be a bit of a trend of some viewing areas temporarily or permanently closing at Beekse Bergen. There was also once a pretty nice aviary in this area that I kind of miss.
@KevinB I have very vague memories of there being a walkthrough aviary and a musk deer enclosure in this area (also flightless macaws and pelicans), one of my favourite spots in BB. Again, very vague memories but I know I preferred it over the Edge of Africa region
@Mr Gharial There was an aviary with Chilean flamingos, Puna ibis and Scarlet ibis (and possibly other species I don't remember) in this area. I also remember the macaws and pelicans. I don't remember any deer in this area though, certainly not musk deer which to my knowledge Beekse Bergen has never had.
@KevinB Hmmm.... I can't find them on ZTL either, even though I pretty distinctly remember fanged deer in what is now the penguin enclosure, either Musk deer, Tufted deer or Muntjac...
