How are the guineapigs behaving in this mix? I find it exciting! One might think that they would find the vultures intimidating. And ibises does sometimes pose a problem to smaller species of birds and mammans in aviaries, although the red ones are somewhat more aggressive than the species in this aviary.
@Conservationbiologist They always seem very chill, usually grazing, sometimes hiding in the shadows of the bushes or behind the rocks if they need it.
I don't know about the ibises though, but Ostrava really cares for the welfare of their animals - one may disagree considering there are still a few extremely outdated exhibits, but to me it seems that if something does not work out, they are always trying to change it, so the animals don't thrive. That's not something every zoo does, unfortunately (there are two major czech zoos on my mind and more smaller ones). So I believe the other inhabitants of the aviary are fine with them.
But I can assure you that the screamers pose a problem for me! There was one that was very unhappy about my presence
