Dark-throated lorikeet (Trichoglossus haematodus nigrogularis) - Animalium BRIN

Atleast a pair of birds of this subspecies, along with numerous birds of the nominate subspecies, still held in small habituation cages before being released to the parrot walkthrough aviary. Due to that, this is the best shot I could get without bothering the birds too much, thus the annoying white shadows that is the chainlinks of the holding area (An repurposed bird aviary).

This subspecies are found in Kai and Aru Islands, as well as southwestern New Guinea. Distinguishable for their reddish-orange chest plumage with minimal black streaks, as well as darker blue head that became darker along the throat and nape.
