This is definitely an impressive-looking otter exhibit, and it must be one of the largest I've ever seen in the ZooChat gallery. It looks as if there might be underwater viewing, or at least viewing from the edge of the water level.

I often hear about visitors complaining about that they don't see them.But I often see them but I am there always at the same time so and that short before/during the feeding time.For me the problem are the beavers, they have a fantastic exhibit but I have only seen once and that was short before closing. By the way the otters have two babies at the moment.
The whole aquatic mammal area at Nuremberg is superb (otter/beaver/seal/sealion/polar bear). The way they are arranged up the slope of the hill is a feat of design in itself!
