Ural Owl (Strix uralensis ???)

Photographed during ny earlier trip to Walsrode in June of this year, zootierliste states the Uhu-Burg aviary houses 2 subspecies but I am unable whixh subspecies is this particular individual from this picture. If there is anyone who wants to take a crack at this, feel free!

Strix Uralensis Macroura - South European subspecies.

It's distinguished as having darker plumage and being the largest Ural Owl subspecies. I'd wager this is the subspecies in this photo.
