I'm educated guessing on the exact type of Pampas Cat here. Back then they weren't split so this was simply labeled as Pampas Cat. But I do know the origin of the animal was Paraguay according to Zims.
@Giant Eland Seems like a Pantanal cat to me! Considering that it came from Paraguay, it is indeed most likely to be a L.braccatus (their range goes from central Brazil to Paraguay).
Also, cool to know that this species was kept in the U.S! Wasn't aware of them living outside zoos in their native range.
