It's profoundly melancholic as well. This species is barely hanging on, and this photo has an ethereal, dreamlike quality to it that really makes me emotional.
Wow .. my childhood memories beautiful times at the zoo. I lived right across the street from the entrance. There has been renovations at the Zoo Center (elephant house). now this exhibit houses tortoises
