This long, narrow exhibit has an aesthetically pleasing backdrop of tall trees and a wide pool for the 4 female elephants, but at only half an acre it has become one of the smaller exhibits for this species in an American zoo. The ages of the elephants range from early 30's to mid-40's and as far as I know the zoo has no plans to do anything to this exhibit in the near future.
