Red-necked wallaby (Notamacropus rufogriseus banksianus)

Subspecies from mainland Australia, less furrier and more lighter in tone than the insular subspecies in Tasmania and the Bass Strait Islands.

Three wallabies had came from the Irwin's Australia Zoo in 2018, they breed ever since.

Red-necked wallabies are a fairly common species in zoos around the world. (It may vary by region.)

@captain alligator but not the mainland subspecies though, the large group at Prigen is likely the only known publicly-held group outside of Australia.

The one you'll see most commonly are the insular subspecies or just farm-bred variants, which are the variants you'll see in those mini zoos and animal cafes.
