Bangka betta (Betta sp. 'Bangka') - PCBA

Prigen Conservation Breeding Ark.
Betta aff. pardalotos.

This fish was wild-caught from the island of Bangka and is also found to be similar to B. pardalotos that are known only in Musi River of Sumatra. That species aren't previously known to naturally found outside of that river, so it's currently signed as sp. 'Bangka' for now.

@Ebirah766 PCBA has done quite a good job in breeding and researching with what is probably a dozens of Betta and Parosphromenus species, as well as some other fishes like around 7 species of rainbowfishes, rasboras, ricefishes, etc.

PCBA intended to build eks situ breeding populations for critical taxas that have little attentions elsewhere, including a lot of these fishes that are almost unknown to a lot of people.
