@Springbok It's a lovely space for them and the keepers do a great job with it (they manually add all the salt every week). The talk at the end of the day is a highlight of my visits and well worth seeing.
I do miss seeing the sealions at Whipsnade since their move to YWP in 2021. However the new place is such a great facility with two pools and a large house you can't help but admire it. I hadn't actually visted YWP until the sealions moved but wanted to see the new space and it's now a regular destination.
While Dominic the male Sealion from Whipsnade (born there in 2007) who moved with them died in early 2025 he fathered Hanno, Oakley, Maui, Coral and Stanley (the last two at YWP in 2023) and they are a great group to watch. I believe this is either Lara or Bailey the adult females and mothers to the pups as they are a lot lighter in colour than the others when dry.
