Is this a space where wild White Storks come in to feed during the summer or are these flightless birds that are part of the Zoo's collection? It's an impressive exhibit and flock either way!
@Summer Tanager They have a stork colony on zoo grounds consisting of free-ranging birds and some resident storks. There were a few very tame storks in there you get very close to, I'm not sure whether they have any flightless ones. They do feedings for the storks twice daily.
@KevinB Thank you for the quick reply! That's a fantastic colony and I like how the storks have become accustomed to the twice-daily feedings. They are smart and resourceful birds!
