Just off-frame to the right is a ladder to enable the bats to climb. To the left is the keeper entry door. A keeper entered to clean the exhibit and the bats retreated to a corner.
Sorry for the low quality of the photo, but since the building/exhibit is now closed, and I don't think there are other 'day' photos in the gallery of this habitat, I thought it might be of interest.
