Snowy owl enclosure at Hagenbeck, Hamburg. Formerly housed leopards.
This looks good for the owls, although I don't remember seeing this?
 
Walk-through-aviaries with birds of prey are pretty uncommon, aren´t they? I think this the first time I notice one.

But then, and if only to get away from my embarrassment :rolleyes: : ARE there any walk-through-aviaries with birds of prey anywhere in the zoo world?
 
South Lakes zoo in Britain has one with king vultures.
 
Owl walk-throughs are getting more common, certainly in Germany with native species - Walsrode, Cologne and Dortmund all spring to mind.
 
Calgary has one with several hawk species and another with great grey owls. Phoenix used to have a walk-through great horned owl aviary.
