Birdworld Kuranda 2007 - Label wall and Macaw nesting boxes

October 2007

Birdworld Kuranda is a free-flying aviary, inside which are two ponds connected by a waterfall under a feeding platform. The feeding policy ensures visitors get the thrill they desire. A bag of nuts and other treats is included in the ticket price and the air raid starts the moment you enter the aviary. Most of the birds are native to the Atherton Tablelands but there is also the odd exotic one, such as the Macaw seen here.
